Interactive psychoanalysis in Belgrade

What keeps repeating can be understood and changed.

I am Lazar Stanojković, an interactive supportive psychoanalyst. I work in person in Belgrade and online, in English and Serbian, with individuals, couples, families and groups. If you are loking for psychotherapy, counselling or simply someone you can talk to seriously, you can start here. At the free consultation we see together whether this way of working suits you.

“From an analytical point of view, the only thing of which one can be guilty is of having given ground relative to one’s desire.”

— Jacques Lacan, Seminar VII: The Ethics of Psychoanalysis (1959–1960)

Ways of working

People come with anxiety, emptiness, relationships that always end the same way, decisions postponed for years. For each of these there is a way of working that fits.

Individual work

One-to-one conversation, fifty minutes, once a week, and more often when needed. We work on what keeps repeating for you, in person in Belgrade or online.

Couples

Ninety-minute sessions with both partners, once a week, and more often when needed. For couples whose same conflict keeps coming back and who need a third person who will not take sides.

Family work

Work with several members of a family together, ninety minutes, once a week, and more often when needed. For families in which one person’s problem has become everyone’s burden.

Personal development groups

Work on oneself in a group of eight. You sign up by email, and the group starts once eight people have gathered, online or in person in Belgrade.

Support groups

People going through the same experience, in one place and within a safe frame. You sign up by email, and the group starts once enough people have signed up.

Discussion groups

A conversation about one topic from psychoanalysis or philosophy, with no obligation to talk about yourself. You sign up by email, and the group starts once enough people have signed up.
